This ranch is truly a western classic and encompasses in excess of 100,000 acres. The terrain varies from vast expanses of sagebrush draws and coulees, to rimrock ledges, juniper canyons, patches of aspen and thick stands of pine. The Mule Deer population is on the rise due to the carefully controlled number of bucks harvested each year. The kill rate has been monitored for over 30 years on this ranch to ensure quality year after year. The majority of buck Deer harvested on this ranch are classic 4 pointers (western count) with spreads from 20-28 inches. It is also home to a resident herd of Elk numbering anywhere from 600-800 head. The license draw for mule deer is 100%. The Elk tag is not an easy tag to draw but by purchasing Wyoming preference points for Elk a license is sure to be drawn. The Guide ratio on this hunt is one guide per 2 hunters. Horses are used for riding to the hunt locations and to pack meat back to camp. These horses have been used for many seasons and have proven themselves to be gentle, sure-footed, and honest mounts.
