Newfoundland Woodland Caribou Hunt 10225
$34,900
This Newfoundland Woodland Caribou hunt is centered on the largest remaining herd of Woodland caribou in the world. Our outfitter here has enjoyed a very high success rate and usually close to 50% of the animals harvested qualify for the Boone & Crockett Record Book (265). They are fortunate enough to claim multiple top ten entries to their outfitting credit.
Base camp is a modern spacious lodge. From there you strike out to clean, comfortable, mobile tent sites. A typical site includes three wall tents. One for the hunters, one for the guides and a separate cooking tent. Sleeping tents have wood floors, army cots, propane lights, mattresses, wood stoves with plenty of dry wood, and each camp includes hot showers. They also provide all the needed equipment which includes canoes, boats, outboards, ATV`s or Argos. All the while professional, experienced guides will offer all the help they can to get you your Woodland Caribou. These hunts are always guided 1×1. Camps are also staffed with a full-time cook.
Hunts run Saturday to Saturday with 5 actual days of hunting. Your point of arrival is St. Johns, plan an overnight and they will meet you and take you from St. Johns to camp on Sunday. The actual hunt runs Monday through Friday. A 10-day hunt can also be arranged. So too can a combo hunt as you can add Black Bear and or Moose to your Newfoundland Woodland Caribou hunt.
