Manitoba Moose Hunt 10133
$11,500
This Manitoba Moose hunt is year in and year out statistically one of most successful moose operations in all of Canada. Over the years they regularly boast harvest statistics over 95%. They run on average about 30 hunters per year with two hunts starting the last week of September through the first week in October. With a massive area and good management practices a thriving population of moose provides very sustainable hunting. People often think that interior Canada means smaller moose, but that’s just not the case here. The average bull taken here has been close to 51” with moose as large as 60″ being taken. With high success, and above average trophies but at a fraction of the cost of most Alaska/Yukon hunts, space is always limited here. Advanced bookings are recommended. Round trip airfare is included from Thompson, Manitoba. You will fly in to the main lodge where you sight in your rifle and enjoy lunch and orientation. From here hunters spike out via float plane or boat to established camps. Some are outpost cabins, some are more remote wilderness tent camps. All are strategically positioned on lakes that produce with regularity. All hunts are 1×1 with 2 guides and 2 hunters, as well as a cook/assistant in each camp. Excellent fishing is also available. You can also book a combination hunt to include black bear. Wolf can be taken at no additional fee as long as you have an open big game tag.
