This Louisiana fishing charter operates out of Venice and specializes in inshore and nearshore trips for redfish, bull reds and sheepshead. Each species has a peak time of year, allowing trips to be planned around the best seasonal opportunities. Fishing takes place aboard a 24 foot Blue Wave Pure Bay powered by a 250 horsepower Yamaha SHO outboard.
Trips leave the dock between 6:00 and 7:00 in the morning, depending on the time of year, with departure taking place at safe light. Anglers typically return to the dock by 1:00 in the afternoon, although trips may end earlier at the customer’s request or because of changing weather conditions.
All necessary fishing tackle is provided, including Shimano rods and Penn reels. Customers are also welcome to bring their own spinning equipment, with reels carrying at least 30 to 40 pound braided line recommended.
