British Columbia Moose Hunt 10148
$15,000
This British Columbia moose hunt takes place in the shadows of the Yukon border. Being this far North in BC, the genetics of the Moose found here are more of a Yukon sub-species. Although they have to be technically registered in B&C as a Canada Moose. Because of the superior genetics hunters receive two great bonuses. First since they are not technically Alaska/Yukon Moose, the cost of the hunt is typically much lower than those in Alaska and the Yukon. Secondly, the moose taken here often score very high for the Canadian sub species. Not only do these monster Moose score high in the record books they also look great above a fireplace, and a big fireplace at that. Moose hunting takes place in September and early October. Spot and stalk, along with calling are both utilized for finding and harvesting trophy Moose. The British Columbia moose hunts can be done as a single specie hunt or as a combination package, which could include Mountain Goat, Mountain Caribou, Black Bear and/or Wolf. Single specie hunts are usually 10 days and combo hunts are 14 days long. Hunters arrive in Fort Nelson and all hunts originate out of the lodge before spiking out to remote cabins or tent camps depending on the location and species hunted. This is not your average British Columbia Moose hunt.
