This British Columbia Black Bear Hunt is boat based creating a truly unique but comfortable ocean hunting adventure. You will be hunting some of the best trophy black bear habitat in the world. In the early spring big, mature boars dominate the prime feeding spots along the coastal estuaries. This offers the serious trophy hunter a small window of opportunity to stalk these huge bruins when they’re occupied by replenishing calories after emerging from hibernation. Hunting big black bears on remote tidal flats is a wonderful adventure. This coastline along the Pacific Ocean is teeming with life. Our outfitter has exclusive guiding rights to over 400 miles of coastline that is inaccessible by roads. For seven days, you will live on a confortable 40 foot boat. Fresh crab and prawns will be caught throughout the trip. Halibut fishing is usually productive this time of year as well. Other delicious meals will be prepared by their on board chef. From this home base you will strike out on 16 foot aluminum skiffs used to access tidal flats and estuaries where bears feed on lush springtime vegetation. You will glass these areas and plan stalks as bears are spotted. The scenery on this hunt is truly breathtaking and the hunting can be world-class. There are only 3 spots on board. A second bear can be harvested by each hunter on a trophy fee basis.
