This Alaska Dall Sheep hunt take place in the Central Brooks Range and runs from August 10th to 19th, or from August 20th to 29th. Grizzly Bear, Caribou, and Black Bear are also available on a trophy fee basis, making for an exciting combo hunt. Guided fly out fishing is available for lake trout, sheefish, dolly varden, & pike. Base camp consists of wall tents and bomb shelter style tent camping. Home cooked meals over the Yukon stove or around the camp fire in the old traditional way. Enjoy a hot shower, wood heat, tables, chairs and enough creature comforts to enjoy yourself without losing the feel of being in the mountains. Good grayling fishing and gold panning is available near base camp. Spike camps utilize lightweight expedition-grade backpack tents. You will, in most cases, share this tent with your guide. Spike camps consist of MSR stoves, freeze dried food, sleeping bags and pads along with a space blanket, your rifle and basic personal gear. You will need a frame pack; or make prior arrangements to hire a packer.
