For decades, Barren Ground Caribou hunts were for many people one of the most popular introductory big game hunts on the continent. Animals were plentiful, hunts were a very high success, and also very affordable. They are still an extremely popular and enjoyable hunt, but political pressure and migration pattern disruptions have changed the game. With Quebec closed to sport hunting for the foreseeable future and central provinces experiencing at times frustrating migration patterns, Alaska has become the go-to place for most barren ground caribou hunts. Mountain caribou hunts are often $15k or more and we are getting reports of Woodland caribou hunts as high as $30k. If caribou is on your list we highly encourage you to look at doing this hunt sooner rather than later. We are sold out for 2022 and we have two spots left in 2023 and two spots left for 2024! We are offering these four spots now, first come first serve, and booking at 2022 pricing, which is $10k.
Argos Allow you to cover a lot of ground…
This Alaska Barren Ground Caribou Hunt is near a remote base camp, located along the Continental Divide. This spot and stalk caribou hunt is aided by a fleet of 8-wheel Argos to help conserve endurance for the final stalk. Final stalks can range from a mile to as little as 100 yards. For safety reasons, all hunts are conducted in parties of two Argos. Therefore, all hunts are 2 hunters per guide with another driver or packer in the hunting party.
