For anyone planning to hunt the great state of Wyoming in 2021 this is a friendly reminder that that deadline for Non Residents to apply for Elk is fast approaching! Online applications need to be submitted on or before Monday, February 1. Results will post the week of May 20.
Montana has changed their application window for Deer and Elk this year. The 2021 applications will open on March 1 and close on April 1. The drawing will take place on April 15th and results should post by May 1. Be sure to include a preference point when applying. If you have questions or need assistance with your applications please contact us. We are also watching closely as Montana SB 143 has a hearing by the Fish and Game committee on February 2. This bill if passed would reinstate guaranteed outfitter tags.
We will also send reminders for buying preference points in both states this summer. We are in constant contact with our outfitting partners and we learn about hunt opportunities on a weekly basis. We in turn do our best to get these opportunities out to you as soon as possible. Here are some excellent hunts with limited openings still available in 2021.
Wyoming Antelope
This hunt takes place in the heart of the beautiful Laramie Mountain Range. This private ranch of more than 200,000 acres will defy your imagination. The number of antelope, and other game that you will see, is worth the trip by itself. Our hunters have been 100% success on this hunt taking very nice animals. Antelope make a beautiful trophy and this fun action packed hunt, while short at 2 days, is memorable. Its also a great hunt to introduce young hunters to the wonderful world of the west. Colorado Private Land Elk
This is a Colorado Elk hunt that won’t break the bank and at the same time won’t have you in a wilderness tent camp. You will enjoy all the comforts of home on this hunt. This outfitter offers a full 5 days of hunting with meals, lodging, 2×1 guide service, transportation to and from the regional airport, all field care of your animals, and delivery to processor. The guides who are experienced callers with superior knowledge of the area. If you want a Colorado elk hunt with a friendly outfitter, and a guy who’s been at it for decades add this one to your list. This 4th season hunt tends to be high success. Boat Based Trophy Black Bear in Alaska!
With the extended closure of the Canadian border we are seeing an all time high demand for spring bear hunts in the United States. On this Alaska black bear hunt you can experience some of the finest hunting available on Prince of Wales Island and Misty Fjords for trophy Coastal Black Bears. This is a spot and stalk hunt which takes place by boat in the bays and inlets of Southeast Alaska. This is a high success hunt which offers multiple opportunities at bears that average 7 foot squared. On average hunters see between 5 to 15 bears per day! The black bear hunts are not very physically demanding and tend to be both relaxing and enjoyable. These also make great father and son/daughter hunts. A lot of clients book this as a graduation gift/adventure. You stay on the boat and enjoy fresh caught caught seafood and grilled steaks with a stunning backdrop only found in southeast Alaska.
