In fact, our clients are usually tagged out with plenty of time to spare. We only book these as groups of 4 with 2×1 guide service. 2 spots remain and must be booked as a party of 2. The same two guides handle every hunt and they work on the ranch full time and know it intimately. This is also a great hunt to introduce younger hunters to! So while there is a waiting list on the limited bull hunts, It is very likely you will encounter several bulls on this hunt, and while you are hunting cow elk, the experience of seeing many bulls is one you won’t forget. The ranch is approximately 19,000 acres, located 30 minutes from Bozeman International Airport. It’s easy to get to but also off the beaten path. The private land adjoins the US National Forest, offering some of the finest big game hunting Montana has to offer. As many as 1,000 elk winter on the ranch. The lodge is centrally located and elk are often seen from the lodge itself. Equipment is all top-notch and transportation is provided by Polaris Rangers and 4×4 pick up which are all new or like new. Accommodations are very nice, well-appointed, and spacious. Themain lodge has two bedrooms with two queen beds in each, two bathrooms, a full-service kitchen, and a dining room. Relax with all the amenities of home including a large flat screen tv, fireplace, and a wet bar. Excellent home-cooked meals are also included. There are also two individual cabins available within walking distance from the lodge. Hunters can stay in the main cabin or individual cabins (outfitter choice). There is a hunter’s room with lockers and individual stalls for each hunter for their hunting clothing, boots, and weapons. There is also a walk-in cooler on-site where the guides will quarter and hang your harvest. They have done all the little things that make a good destination a great one.
