As promised we are monitoring the much anticipated Canada border opening and the ensuing travel restrictions very closely. We have been in regular communication with several of the most reputable and proven Canadian outfitters. As expected a few spots are starting to open up. To cross the border on or after August 9th American hunters and fisherman have to show proof of an accepted vaccine and a negative Covid test taken with 72 hours of the crossing. Some would be travelers have not or will not get the vaccine. While we fully respect every individual’s decision regarding the matter, this is creating what you might call vaccination cancellations. If you are or will be fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to the trip you are eligible for these short notice opportunities. As we learn of more we will continue to update you. All trips are booked first come first served and we anticipate things will move quickly and as some sell others may come available. We expect changes daily.
Let’s Go Fishing!
It goes without saying that Canada offers some of the most incredible freshwater fishing on the planet. We have multiple lodges and outposts who have at least some openings in August and September. Rather than try to list all of the dates and options here we just want to let you know that if you or your group have an appetite for some great Canadian fishing in 2021, just let us know and we will work with you to sort through availability and options to find the right fit. Whether it’s abundant walleye for shore lunch, trophy pike, smallmouth bass, lake trout, or a combination thereof, we are sure we can help you out. Keep in mind most of these lakes have seen very little to no pressure. In fact, some of these fish have not seen a single lure in nearly 2 years! Fishing could be flat-out exceptional in August and September.
Manitoba Waterfowl Hunt
Save $400
This Manitoba waterfowl hunt takes place in the pothole region which is renowned for fantastic waterfowl hunting. Here you enjoy clean and comfortable lodging and excellent meals. Another big sell on this one is their custom 15-foot metal blinds that they pull on and off the fields daily. These offer hunters of all ages to enjoy the comfort of sitting in a heated blind, where you can have your shells and coffee on a shelf, and a mid-morning breakfast cooked in the blind. Most of the hunt is geared towards the morning where you shoot limits of Canada geese on an average of two of the three days of hunting. You can also get some nice opportunities on ducks on some of these fields, and often have big shoots on snow geese as well. On average they run 200 full-body decoys every day. This hunt includes everything from airport pickup, all meals, and lodging to bird cleaning and packaging. Repeat clientele is 90% each year so getting in here is a rare opportunity.

Manitoba Fall Black Bear Hunt
This outfitter produces two things bear hunters love… big bears and color phase bears. He is already fully booked for 2022 so this is a great opportunity to get in on a very popular hunt. This is a family-run outfit, second-generation outfitter located near the famous Riding Mountain National Park. This area is very well known for producing big bears and a great variety of colors including chocolates, cinnamons, and blondes. This is a cabin-based hunt. The outfitter drives you to and from your stand or blind. These are very high success hunts and they are conducive to both archery or rifle. As with most Canadian hunts, these bears saw almost zero hunting pressure last year. Dry conditions should create an ideal scenario as food sources are limited.
Dates: 5 Day Hunts Starting August 15 (Or Later)Price: $3,500 (Includes License/Tag!)
Manitoba Moose Hunt
This is a very good value hunt for quality moose. While you are not likely to see or harvest a 60 inch moose here, the majority of hunters are successful in taking 40 to 50 inch moose. We are personally hunting here this year and cannot wait to get into camp. These hunts are lake/boat based with only 2 hunters per lake so they see minimal pressure. Once again, these lakes and the moose that call them home saw no human activity in 2020. Hunters need to get to Thompson, Manitoba. The hunt costs includes your license and float plane charters. Excellent fishing is found on most lakes. You can also take a bear if you have a license in your pocket.
Dates: September 26-October 3, 2021Price: $12,000 All Inclusive
Ontario Bear and Wolf Hunts

These are small camps of not more than 4 hunters and success is very high. In addition to the wolf hunts, he has also has room for some fall black bear hunters. The dry conditions in Ontario are lining up for particularly good fall bear hunting conditions. There is also some excellent fishing to be had.
Dates: Flexible 5 day hunts. Bear in August-September, Wolf in FebruaryPrice: $3,500
Newfoundland Moose
This moose pictured was just one of the great animals taken on our 2019 hosted hunt. The population estimates for moose in Newfoundland today are between 120,000 and 150,000 animals, a very healthy density. This hunt can be done from the comfort of a recently built comfortable lodge with all the amenities of home or if you prefer you can do a remote camp. Camps are clean, comfortable, mobile tent sites. A typical site includes three wall tents. One for the hunters, one for the guides, and a separate cooking tent. Sleeping tents have wood floors, army cots, propane lights, mattresses, wood stoves with plenty of dry wood, and each camp includes hot showers. They also provide all the needed equipment which includes canoes, boats, outboards, ATV`s or Argos. Whatever is needed to get the job done. Camps are also staffed with a full-time cook. Hunts run Saturday to Saturday with 5 actual days of hunting. Your point of arrival is St. Johns, plan overnight and they will meet you and take you from St. Johns to camp on Sunday. The actual hunt runs Monday through Friday. A 10-day hunt can also be arranged.

Northern BC Moose and Caribou
Save $5,000
The close proximity to the Yukon and several shared waterways has both the population and great genetics for some of the world’s biggest Canadian Moose. With an average well over 53”, and several moose over 60” each year, this is an amazing place to hunt them. Meanwhile, Mountain Caribou hunting is among the best in B.C. In September, the Caribou come from miles around to rut in this area. Even as an add-on to Moose hunts, most hunters see between 30 – 50+ a day. Bulls harvested during the rut average between 320-380. The success rate on the Caribou hunts is usually 100% and even as an add-on to a moose hunt most hunters take both animals. This is a horseback hunt, and typically you are riding to several vantage points each day until you find a bull that you like.
