This 5th generation owner runs fair chase Red Stag hunts from his lodge in a large forested landscape encompassing nearly 10,000 acres. Hunting is spot and stalk, travel by ATV, and walk as much or as little as you like. Enjoy a beautiful lodge setting with 360 degree views of the vast territory. Plenty of action and a very doable archery hunt. Our outfitter has rifles available if you don’t want to bring your own. Additional animals available for harvest include Sika, Rusa, Sambar, Fallow, Arapawa Sheep, South Pacific Goat, and even Merriam’s Turkey and Possum. Tahr and Chamois are hunted on the South Island by helicopter or on foot. Helicopter time is included in the price. No hidden charges and no surprises. Meals are prepared by the lodge chef while on the north island. Custom tours on both islands can be added to make this a true hunting vacation.
