New Brunswick
Here is an exciting alternative to the standard central Canadian hunt. Perhaps most exciting is that you can harvest two bears here. With guiding privileges to an area of nearly 250 square miles this outfitter offers some of the best baited and spot and stalk black bear opportunities on the east coast. Most hunters will see several bears during their week of hunting. In addition, you will enjoy oceanside suite accommodations. You’ll probably gain weight from the gourmet meals that would be the envy of any restaurant. Plus, dishes are likely to include a feast of fresh Maine lobster. This is a family-run operation with traditional values and good old-fashioned customer service ruling the day. This area also boasts some terrific sightseeing for the non-hunting adventurer or for you when you are not on stand. This is a great hunt, and a great value and if you haven’t visited Maine or New Brunswick you are missing out. This hunt is a great way fix that.

These bears do not see outside hunting pressure and are well conditioned to these spring feeding opportunities. You will enjoy comfortable cabin accommodations. The cabins have everything you need to eat well on your trip as well as gas grills for a lakeside BBQ. As with most spring bear hunts there is a lot of daylight and plenty of downtime in the morning. Manitoba Trophy Bruins
Bear numbers here are very high and opportunity is typically 100%. Trophy size is very real and if you are patient, you stand a really good chance of scoring a 7-foot square bruin with a skull of 20 inches or better. The trick is to pass the numerous smaller bears that you will likely encounter. It is not unusual to see 5 or more bears on a given sit. Comfortable weather with active bears combined with very high success rates make this a truly enjoyable experience. Add some fantastic fishing to your daily routine and life is pretty darn good. This hunt is also ideal for younger hunters and makes the perfect parent/child hunt. Hunts are conducted from stands over baits using ladder stands, the occasional hang on stand, or at times a ground blind. Comfortable motel lodging is provided along with home cooked meals off the menu in camp. Fly into Winnipeg.

Saskatchewan
Saskatchewan is well known for boasting one of the best populations of black bear in the world. For hunters who are intent on harvesting trophy bruins, this is a destination that needs to be considered. A 6-foot mature boar weighing up to 300 pounds with a 20-inch skull is considered a true trophy. That is not an unreasonable expectation here and they have taken a number of such bears each year. Their largest to date was over 7-foot, weighing in at over 500 pounds. Their record skull size is 21 7/8 inches Pope and Young. Not only do they produce great trophy bears, but also many color phase bears. In fact, it is estimated that more than 35% of the bears here are a color phase. You could see a chocolate, cinnamon, or even a blonde phase bear on your hunt. Eastern hunts tend not to have color phase bears, or if they do, not in nearly this great of numbers. Hunts are on private land with well-established bait sites. You are welcome to hunt with firearms or archery and they are well-adept to providing good archery set ups. With years of experience in this area, they know exactly how to set up on big spring bears and catch them in daylight. Most hunters see multiple bears per sit. This hunt is set up to be all-inclusive. You need to get to Saskatoon and spend the night. The next morning, they will pick you up and take you to bear camp. From then on you are taken care of. A comfortable, well-appointed lodge awaits with excellent meals. Your license, tags, and taxes are all included in the price.

These guys offer an exciting opportunity at a spot and stalk hunt that allows you a chance to harvest two trophy bears. As the snow recedes up the mountains in the spring, black bears hungrily emerge from hibernation. The first areas to see green grasses are sun-exposed slide shoots, cut blocks, and logging roads. With a beautiful lodge and hundreds of miles of access to the mountains, this hunt is the perfect recipe for spot and stalk hunting huge coastal black bears. Hunters are often as impressed with the stunning views as they are with the big coastal black bears. This area has vast networks of logging roads and clear cuts that create the ideal habitat for a hungry spring bear. High success hunting is conducive to archery and firearms.
