Rob Zavoral – New Mexico

Conway, I would like to thank you for putting together this New Mexico elk hunt as it was a great experience for me. The terrain was easy to access. The walk in the morning was full of bugles which were very exciting to listen to! The accommodations were very nice and the guide service was very professional and very organized. It is clear that they put a great deal of thought and effort into the process of hunter safety and elk management. They took great care of my elk from the time it hit the ground to the time I loaded up to head home. Once I was done my guide invited me to sit with him as he helped a fellow guide with his client. That was one of the highlights of my experience, as it showed me how the calling works and the patience it takes to convince the elk to respond to him. My guide didn’t have a chance to show off his skills at calling because we got on my elk right away!
