You just need to get to Whitehorse. This outfitter offers a sheep hunt that is both a great value and offers high success. What’s more is the use of gentle horses on moderate terrain makes this a sheep hunt ideal for those who are no longer able to pursue a backpack hunt in steeper locales. And while its possible that a hunter may have to spike out on occasion, most nights are spent in cabins. Included in the hunt price are your round trip travel from Whitehorse to camp as well as the non resident preservation fee, hunting license, and GST. This is truly one of the better values in sheep hunting. This is not a huge concession but it boasts great numbers of sheep and some great trophies. In fact this unit boasts perhaps the highest sheep density of any in the Yukon. Only 12 hunters per year, 3 per hunt. Success runs 95% with typical rams of 36-37 inches. Add on Grizzly and Mountain Caribou are avaible on a trophy fee basis but tags are very limited.
