Moose have a very keen sense of hearing and hunters must be very quiet and patient while hunting. The prime time for moose hunting is dusk and dawn. This is when they do most of their traveling. Moose are often spotted near a tree line adjacent to a small open bog. Moose can swim as fast as two men paddling a canoe and run up to 56 mph on land. We boast a new 2000 square foot lodge with all the amenities needed to make your trip a very comfortable one. We also have tent based camps for our more remote locations. This outfitter has been a Newfoundland woodland caribou outfitter for over a decade. We have a passion for hunting trophy caribou. We display a large collection of Trophy Woodland Caribou antlers, of which, over twenty qualify for the Boone & Crockett World Record Book. We own four of the top ten heads in the world. We are official measurers . We have been enjoying a 95% success rate and usually over 1/2 of our hunters qualify for the Boone & Crockett Record Book. We provide clean, mobile tent sites. A typical site includes three wall tents. One for the hunters, one for the guides and a cooking tent. We have army cots, propane, mattresses, wood stoves, hot showers etc. We also provide equipment which includes canoes, boats, outboards, ATV`s, etc
