Montana Antelope Hunt 10516
$1,500
A Montana Antelope hunt is not only a lot of fun, but for many it’s the gateway to hunting out west. High success, short hunts tend to make this a great hunt for youth as well. And by comparison is the most affordable of the western big game hunts. Antelope tags are on a draw basis due by June 1 each year but the archery tag is almost always 100%. You can literally start hunting right out the “back door” of the ranch cabin. Depending on the conditions this hunt may involve blind sits over water holes, or the more exciting method of spot and stalk which may utilize decoys if the hunt coincides with the rut. Drawing a rifle tag is more difficult, but its worth applying. For those who draw hunting is done by 4×4 trucks, glassing, and then stalking. Shots can range from 150 yards to 300 yards. The average shot is 200-250 yards. Success is always very high. Antelope can be hunted in combination with Whitetail or Mule Deer the last part of October and the first week of November.
