Manitoba Moose Hunt 10163
$9,395
On this Manitoba Moose hunt you’ll find yourself in a remote area of extreme northern Manitoba that has rarely been hunted and is exclusive only to our outfitter. This is prime moose country with lots of marshy areas and numerous rivers and feeder creeks all accessible from their main lodge or outpost camps on the main lake. Your first destination is Thompson, Manitoba. After an overnight there you will be picked up and flown in to your respective camp. This nine day moose hunt is done either from the main lodge or an outpost camp. Hunts are conducted in late September during the peak of the rut. The objective is luring bulls by calling, both early morning and evening. Having a 1,000 pound bull Moose answer your call will make the hair on the back of your neck stand up and will not soon be forgotten. They will only take four lucky hunters per year. If you want, you can elect to make it a combo hunt and add caribou to your quarry. All moose hunters, regardless if combo or stand alone will hunt either from the lodge (top of the lake) or the spike camp (middle of the lake). The accommodations are assigned on a first come first serve basis. There will be two hunters out of the lodge and two in the spike camp. Both camps are equally successful. If on a combo hunters will first fly to caribou camp typically hunting caribou for 1 or 2 days. Upon tagging out hunters are flown back to their respective moose camp to complete the combo hunt. 250 pounds of meat may be retained by each hunter.
