Colorado Elk Hunt 10208
$5,500
This southwest Colorado elk hunt takes place in renowned unit 61. If you are building preference points in Colorado for elk, this could be the hunt for you. If you do not have a cache of points there are landowner vouchers avaible, but they are limited. This small family run operation consistently produces opportunities at some great bulls. Statistically they average close to 95% shooting opportunity on bulls over 300″. Some years the average is as high as 325″. This hunt takes place on a combination of private and public land. Hunt includes cabin accommodations, or comfortable wall tents depending on the hunt. Either way you get great home cooked meals. Hunting is done on foot, but horses are often used to pack animals out. It can be a fairly easy hunt, but at the same time if you are up to it can be a physical hunt too. The muzzleloader hunt is a favorite as it typically coincides with the peak of the bugle. Archery and rifle hunts are also offered. If you want a classic Colorado elk hunt, but want to get away from the crowds and target trophy class bulls, this one will do the trick.
