British Columbia Black Bear Hunt 10902

This British Columbia black bear hunt takes place over six days. Your base will be a cozy ranch house, where you’ll start each day with a hot shower and great food. This outfitter has access to over 600 square miles of logging roads, clear-cuts, and meadows—creating the perfect habitat for hungry spring bears.

This outfitter offers two methods of bear hunting: spot-and-stalk or hunting with hounds. Each day, you and your guide will set out in search of fresh bear sign. Once on a bear’s trail, your guide will determine which method provides the best opportunity for success. Every year, this outfitter harvests bears in the 6’– 7′ range, with skulls measuring 17″–21″. BC has one of the highest black bear densities in North America, with populations so strong that there is a two-bear quota. If you choose to hunt a second bear, a harvest fee will apply upon success.
