Alaskan Moose Hunt 10875
$8,500
This Alaskan Moose Hunt offers a thrilling adventure in the vast and beautiful Game Units 9, 17, and 19. Spanning state, federal, and native lands in South Western Alaska, this region, equivalent in size to the state of North Dakota, is open to the public for hunting and recreation. The journey begins with a commercial flight to Port Alsworth, Alaska, accessible through Lake and Pen Air at Merrill Field in Anchorage. Outfitter welcome groups of 2 to 4 hunters, providing transportation, camping gear, and necessary equipment.
Upon arrival in PA, hunters are briefed on company procedures and transported into the expansive hunting grounds. The immersive experience involves maintaining your own camp, field dressing, and packing your harvested meat back to camp. While the outfitters supply camping gear, including tents, cots, and cooking stoves, hunters are responsible for their food supply. Additional supplies can be dropped mid-hunt if needed. A satellite phone or means of satellite communication is required for staying in touch with pilots and staff during the adventure.
For those seeking an extra challenge, a float hunt with a supplied raft is available for an additional fee. After the successful completion of the hunt, meat and trophies are transported back to PA. Hunters can choose to ship the meat home at their expense or contribute to the local community. With an emphasis on self-sufficiency and a connection to the Alaskan wilderness, this moose hunt promises an unforgettable experience for avid hunters.
