Your trip will consist of, but not be limited to, daily fishing excursions by boat with a professional licensed guide on the Naknek River, Naknek Lake, and the streams and tributaries of the area. Fantastic wildlife viewing, including the famous Brown Bears of Katmai National Park and Brooks Camp is a key part of any trip that is organized. It is important to remember that none of these trips have a set schedule. We plan the days based on the weather, the fishing, and what we feel is best for you. Your trip will be customized to best suite your needs and desires!
Fly out fishing to remote streams or the Nushagak River can be included for an additional fee of $650 -$850 per hour of flying time, payable to the air charter company. The average fly out trip requires one to two hours of flying. The aircraft will carry, 5 fisherman, a guide and gear comfortably. This translates into about $200 per person per day for a fly out. It is not necessary to fly out from the facility to experience extraordinary fishing and wildlife viewing but it does add a special dimension to your experience. If you choose to fly to Brooks Camp (rather than boating there) count on approximately 1 hour total of flight time (flight time not included in package).
