Alaska Brown Bear/Moose Hunt 10067
Here is an Alaska Brown Bear hunt with a long time professional outfitter who is focused on running a quality operation catered to the individual hunter. High success hunts are offered in both the spring and fall hunt and are geared toward trophy bears. Hunts are for 10 full days. The spring hunts run from April 20 through May 20 and are combined with a black bear at no additional charge other than the tag fee. The late fall hunt runs October 15 through November 5 . This timing allows for premium hide quality and leaves enough time to find a large bear. Calling can work very well at this time. The September hunts start on September 1. You will typically see many bears this hunt, and your chance of success is quite high. This hunt can also be done in combination with a moose if you draw a tag for the area. An additional charge does apply for the moose combo. You can also do this in combination with a mountain goat. The cost includes 1 on 1 guiding service, trophy and meat care, and all meals and lodging while in the field. Unlike most Alaska Brown Bear hunts, this one also includes shipping of your hide and skull. Clients are responsible for their tags and licenses, in town meals and lodging if necessary, and charter costs to and from the field. Plan for a memorable Alaskan hunt. These hunts are not based out of a lodge or from a boat, but instead they operate out of comfortable tent camps which they move frequently to keep you in the best hunting areas for the given time and game movements. The slight sacrifice in comfort of this type of hunting is more than made up for in the quality and quantity of game you will encounter. They do not over-hunt areas and only book a limited number of clients per year. He operates primarily on a Special Use Permit from the Chugach National Forest, which gives him access to approximately 2.5 million acres of Alaskan Wilderness.
