Alaska Brown Bear Hunt 10745
$32,000
This Alaska Peninsula Coastal Brown Bear Hunt is considered this outfitter’s premier offering, consistently producing exceptional trophy quality year after year. Bears exceeding the 9 foot mark are harvested annually, and a portion routinely qualify for the Boone & Crockett record book. Hunts begin and end in Sand Point, Alaska, with commercial flights from Anchorage before hunters are transported to the lodge or remote field camps depending on weather conditions.
The main lodge at Canoe Bay is located on the mainland of the Alaska Peninsula and has been privately owned and family operated for more than 50 years. Comfortable accommodations, excellent meals, laundry service, hot and cold running water, and indoor plumbing are all provided. Hunts are conducted from remote fly in camps, cabins, spike camps, or from the main lodge via boat access.
These hunts are physically demanding and conducted on a 1×1 basis with professional guides. Spring hunts feature long daylight hours during the rut, while fall hunts focus heavily on salmon streams and feeding areas as bears prepare for winter. Hunters are responsible for airfare, hotels, licenses, tags, personal gear, sleeping equipment, and gratuities. Trophy transportation and processing in Anchorage are available at an additional cost.
