Caribou packages are offered 1×1, 2×1, or 3×1. Additionally, you can harvest a grizzly on a trophy fee basis. Hunts can be traditional backpack style or you can upgrade to a raft style hunt if that is more appealing. Hunters need to get to Fairbanks and overnight there. The next morning your adventure begins. Well maintained bush planes will take you to remote, wild, and pristine hunting areas teeming with wildlife. Spike camps are well equipped and comfortable, particularly when considering the remoteness of your location. The Arctic is harsh but truly a magical wilderness experience you will not soon forget.
Hunts are a standard 7 days, weather permitting, however a 14 day can also be arranged. If its Caribou and Grizzly that you seek, but you don’t want to spring for the cost of a Grizzly without harvesting one, then the 2×1 raft hunts are a perfect fit. For a family hunt or a budget conscious hunter you can take advantage of a 3×1 Caribou hunt. This hunt saves you roughly $500 per hunter and still offers a high success rate. This a great option if you are primarily interested in Caribou, however you will still have the option to take a Grizzly Bear on a trophy fee if the opportunity presents. Archery hunters are welcome for both Caribou and Grizzly. They take a high volume of bow hunters and understand the special needs of archery hunting in the last frontier. The 14 day 1×1 hunt is recommended for Grizzly with a bow, although past hunters have had success on the 7-day combination hunt with stick and string. In addition to your hunting adventures you can also enjoy some very good fishing. Wolf are also available on an opportunity basis if you hunt mid-August or later.
