| This Alaska Moose hunt is conducted on the southern slopes of the Brooks Range. Hunters here enjoy success rates around 90%, with an average antler spread of 60 inches. Bulls have been taken with antlers up to 70 inches in width! Hunt dates coincide with the rut, and calling is very effective. Hunting styles are spot and stalk, float hunting, and as noted, stationary calling. Accommodations consist of high quality 8’ X 8’ Arctic Ovens and Bomb Shelters with cots. Company owned aircraft equipped with floats and tundra tires allow access to the best hunting areas and provide personalized support during the hunt. The cost of the round trip air charter our of Fairbanks is included in this cancellation. Hunters need to be in Fairbanks for a morning departure on 9/3 and will return on the afternoon of 9/15, weather permitting. Archery hunters are welcome on this hunt. This is also an excellent opportunity for a multi-species hunt and hunters frequently have opportunities for Grizzlies, Caribou, or Wolves during the course of their 10 day hunt.
