This spring walleye program on Lake Michigan provides a consistent early-season fishing opportunity. Due to continued interest, the operation will once again run two sport-fishing vessels, allowing multiple groups to fish while maintaining an organized and professional experience.
The focus is on pre- and post-spawn walleyes during evening and nighttime hours, when conditions are typically most favorable. Fishing is conducted from 36-foot sport-fishing vessels that offer a stable, comfortable, and protected platform, well-suited for cooler spring conditions. Early May generally sees more active fish, while later dates tend to be more dependent on weather and water temperature.
Condominium lodging is included with the walleye packages, keeping travel and logistics straightforward. For anglers looking to spend time on Lake Michigan during the spring walleye season, this program offers a well-run and reliable option.
