This Manitoba Moose Hunt takes place in a remote, exclusive guide-use area north of Thompson, Manitoba. Hunters begin their trip with a float plane flight from Thompson into one of several carefully selected lakes, each with only one camp in operation. This creates a truly secluded experience with very limited pressure.
With over 20 years of experience in the region, this outfitter has built a strong reputation for consistently producing quality bulls in prime moose habitat. They have more Manitoba Outfitter awards for the largest moose than any other outfitter in the last 20 years! Hunting is conducted using classic spot and stalk methods, with options for both 2×1 and 1×1 guiding depending on your preference.
The terrain is very manageable, making this a great option for hunters of all ability levels. A strict 40-inch minimum ensures that only mature bulls are harvested, contributing to the overall quality of the hunt and resulting in some exceptional trophy bulls taken year after year. Bulls over 200″ have been harvested(most recent was 2024). Accommodations range from a main camp with heat and hot showers to comfortable wall tent setups on remote lakes that may only see a couple of hunters each season.
Packages include 8 full hunting days with rifle or archery, over-the-counter tags, and a well-organized operation from start to finish. If a remote Canadian moose hunt has been on your list, this is a proven option worth serious consideration.
