This British Columbia Elk hunt offers exciting action, high success, and a beautiful setting. Elk are especially plentiful in this mountain area, one of the best in the province. A six-point minimum is in place and most elk taken are in the 280-300 class with good mass. This area sees very little pressure which makes calling very effective. This is an any-weapon hunt and they are skilled in guiding archery hunters as well as rifle. This is a horseback-assisted hunt from the comfort of a well-appointed lodge. You will ride out in the morning and are hunting almost immediately. Being in shape is always to your benefit but this is not an overly strenuous hunt. Six hunters is a full camp and you will rarely if ever see another hunter in the field. Hunts can be 1×1 or 2×1, both have maintained high success. You can purchase a Moose or Mountain Goat tag and pursue a second species on a harvest fee basis. Success on two animals has been well above average in recent years. Wolf and Black Bear can be harvested with no additional fee other than the tag. Fly to Fort Nelson or Fort St. John. Bush flights will take you directly to camp from there.
