Trophy Alberta Whitetails in the Rut!
This Alberta Whitetail hunt consistently produces bucks over 150 inches. It’s a very large hunting area, approximately two and a half hours north of Edmonton. This is considered to be one of, if not the best whitetail zones in the province for big whitetails. Abundant habitat that is an ideal mix of ag land and swamp mixed in with big timber supports a thriving population. This coupled with proper management of the harvest makes this a great place to tag a true trophy whitetail. Heated blinds are the primary hunting method but with the use of cell cams to aid in establishing patterns, it’s also not unusual for a hunter to change location to up the odds of an encounter with a dream buck. Rut activity is common throughout November. 5 full hunting days are included, success has historically been flirting with 90% on this hunt, last year was 100% and all of those hunters have re-booked. He was able to secure some additional tags and has more than enough capacity to add these hunts. This is a lodge-based hunt with no more than 8 hunters in camp.
