$5,500
Spring and Fall Option: Spring is additional $500.00
Spring:
Alaska Black Bear Hunting is conducted in Prince William Sound in unit 6 along the rugged coastline. These big salmon-fed Bears are just coming out of hibernation & have some of the best hide quality anywhere on the planet. Cruising the coastal shorelines and glassing the tidal flats produce plenty of stalking opportunities. This area has one of the highest Bear populations in the state. Bears typically range between 6? – 7? square.
Transportation and accommodations are aboard the comfortable live-aboard vessel “Castaways”. This is the ultimate ‘man cruise’; a whale watching and glacier tour where you can also kill Bears, catch fish & shrimp, & eat fresh seafood. Large boars with perfect hides are the norm, & this is how a Black Bear hunt should be! Past clients have nicknamed this trip the ‘caddillac of Bear hunts’!
Fall:
The Fall Black Bear hunts are conducted along the salmon rivers in Prince William Sound. At the end of summer the rivers are flush with pink, silver and chum salmon easy for the taking as the bears roam the river beds fattening up for the winter. This natural bait concentrates the bears and creates an exciting spot and stalk close quarters hunt. This time of the year makes a very good bow hunt option.
