Raised in West Fargo, North Dakota, Haley found his love for the outdoors at a very young age. Growing up, Haley’s parents were avid fishermen and would spend many weekends at Lake of the Woods, Ontario along with exploring islands near Kenora. Haley says, “I still remember to this day being four or five years old and sleeping underneath the console of Robert Carlson’s boat when we made long tracks across the water.” You can say this is where Haley’s passion for the water and the outdoors sparked. Along with fishing, Haley now spends a lot of time hunting. He is an avid bow hunter and never misses the rifle season on the family farm in Minnesota.
Haley loves passing on his passion for the outdoors to everyone. Caring and charismatic, people are drawn to his passion making it contagious. In addition to educating others about the outdoors, Haley also has his sights set on being a professional guide in the future. At the end of the day, he just truly enjoys being around like minded outdoor enthusiasts, and sharing stories of the latest adventure and the excitement of the one to come next.
When not working or studying, Haley is most likely fishing, chasing whitetails, or trying to rouse some pheasants with his chocolate lab, Koda. Haley will graduating in 2023 with a major in marketing and a minor in nonprofit organizations and sales from the University of North Dakota.
