A cancellation has created a short notice opportunity for one of our best selling and most popular elk hunts. These are typically booked one to even two years out. However, six spots just became available as a corporate group had to cancel. This hunt has a long history of very high success. It will be booked first come first served basis and solo hunters are welcome to book.
Consisting of 60,000 private acres, with an elevation of 6,500′ – 9,300′ you will be hunting in the middle of one of the largest elk herds in North America. This ranch is included in Colorado’s Ranching for Wildlife program, which not only provides flexible dates but allows for better management of both quantity and quality of wildlife. This program allows you a guaranteed either-sex license, with the choice to use any legal rifle, muzzleloader or bow during the hunt. With a harvest rate near 100% annually, you can expect an opportunity at a mature bull on this hunt.
While you are not hunting you will enjoy very comfortable lodge accommodations with all the comforts of home. They provide excellent meals cooked by the camp chef. Well fed and rested you will typically leave the lodge in the morning in a pickup, drive to your hunt area, and then continue on via ATV for spot and stalk hunting. Walk as much or as little as you like. The guides are very accommodating. After your morning hunt, it’s back to the lodge for brunch. Relax, nap or watch the game before returning to the field for the afternoon hunt.
