This Louisiana Waterfowl hunt takes place in the legendary fields and marshes of Southwest Louisiana. In fact, this hunt puts you in the heart of the Mississippi Flyway. This long time outfitter provides a quality hunt by offering complete comfort and high success hunting. Hunts are conducted over realistic decoy spreads and on some of the finest lands Southwest Louisiana has to offer. These lands provide the winter home to thousands of ducks and geese each year. Gigantic flocks of Canada, Snows and Blues, and even Specklebelly geese surround this hunting area every season. In addition, numerous species of ducks, including mallards, pintails and teal flock here to feed and rest.
This hunting area is next to a national wildlife refuge. The private hunting lands consist of thousands of acres of rice, soybean, and plowed fields. As a result, some of the finest mixed bag duck and goose hunting in the country may be found here. You will hunt from comfortable pit blinds while ATV’s are used to provide transportation in the field. Experienced, professional guides work to ensure a relaxed hunting experience. You can choose from basic day trips or extended stays. Guests will enjoy terrific accommodations and meals while packages are well suited for groups and corporate events. Excellent fishing can be added to make for a memorable cast and blast experience, and if that is not enough you can also add golf to “round” out your experience.

The Louisiana waterfowl season runs from November and ends in early February. Not only is there a long season but also a liberal bag limit on both ducks and geese. There is an early Teal season in September each year, and the standard waterfowl season begins in early November. The duck season is divided into two splits. The first takes place in November and the second usually opens in the middle of December and closes in mid to late January. The goose season runs through early February.
