Here is a high success British Columbia Mountain Goat hunt that can be made into a great combination hunt with trophy Moose. There are an abundance of mountain goats in this outfitters hunting area. An average goat here is usually between 9-9.5″ with some goats over 10 inches harvested every year. They only harvest billies and have had great success with both rifle and bow. Due to their far north location, the goat’s winter hair comes in relatively early, providing a beautiful full-body mount. All hunts start form a comfortable base camp, the outfitters home. From there hunters will spike out. Hunts take place in September or early October. Single specie hunts are 10 days in length while the combination hunts can be 10 or 14 days in length. Mountain caribou are not prevalent but can be taken on a harvest fee basis on this British Columbia Mountain Goat hunt.
